I’m Richard Knight, the London Celebrant.

I specialise in delivering unique, memorable ceremonies. I promise that during your ceremony, be it a wedding, a funeral, or any other event that you want to mark in a special way, no one present will be wondering when the bar will open.

Before becoming a celebrant, I spent 16 years working in restaurants in London & Melbourne, through which I developed a love of hospitality & delivering amazing, inclusive events. I have completed a BA in creative writing and a MA in critical theory, both of which fed my love of language.

Over the years, as I attended the weddings of my siblings & loved ones, at which I was often MC or asked to do a reading, I identified an opportunity for me to bring my experience & passion to this area.
